1) The battle of humanity!
The Tau and Space Marine forces have entered battle in a small city long abandoned by its inhabitors. The Rebels which include, Imperial Guard and (for some reason) Chaos Space Marine have been minimized to very few forces, however very powerful forces, and have teamed up for there planets survival, staying within the highly damaged bombed out building, that used to be there homes. As the Space Marines (Right of the Bombed out Building) prepare to fight with the also preparing Tau forces (Left of the Bombed out Building) they get unpleasent explosions around them. A team of Tank Busters from the Guardsman have just taken out a tank on both sides. This happens a second time. The armies furious with humiliation from the small force prepare to team up and wipe out the small rebel forces. What they dont expect is alot of abilities, special skills, and alot of good rolling! As they shoot at the Imperial Guard ,who are on the highest floor of the tower, they cant seem to get a shot off because of the incredible training of the Guardsman, and miss time and time again. The Space Marine squads attempt to attack the building in close combat but soon come in reach of an extremelly powerfull Chaos Sorcerer! As the Terminators, Assault squad, and remaining Tactile squads start heading over, while watching there bretheren burning to ash face down in the dirt, they get more explosions then they can handle! Grenades, Lasscannons, Missile Launchers! Space Marines flying everywhere! Terminators heavy weight blown away in an instant! Assault squads blown out of the sky! The Tau realize they are no match ( and very hungry ) and decide there outa there! Leaving only the remaining Space Marines and there ambushers. The Space Marines are big in number and in force, but are no match for the courage and bravery that are the Imperial Guard ! After anhilating the Space Marines the small rebel group headed out, and began reclaiming their territories. The battle was over. Not a single casualty for the Rebels. Not a single one of there enemies standing.

2) The Road to RPGing!
The year is 41,000 and the wars are going on all around the small planet of Atria. Long has Atria served as a recruitment area for the Imperial Guard. The planet is usually considered safe and hardly has any wars. However, something strange is happening. The communications with the planet have been cut off for the past 24 hours, we believe that the Dark Eldar have conquered the planet but we cant be sure. There have been no reports from space marines, or other Imperial Guard planets located around Atria. The last message sent went something like this:

Officer something terrible is happening I fear for the new recruits I cant tell what race the ships are from they are painted with a strange red goop. They have been orbiting for sometime now and we cant get a hold of there communications.

We sent some scouts up to check whats going on. They havent reported in since 12:53AM there communications have been jammed.

OH DEAR GOD THEYVE ATTACKED THE CIVILIANS TO THE EAST OF THE BASE!!! THERES TO MANY OF EM WE CANT HOLD EM OFF SEND REINFORCEMENTS!

I dont understand theyve.... theyve retreated?but we havent even destroyed a single one of there ships. I dont understand they just came in to destroy the towns...

It appears there were major casualties in town, and a few missing people. Some of those men used to work for the guard, they got assigned to local P.D. work and other crap ? I dont understand WHAT THE **** WERE THOSE ****ERS THINKING?!

The story now begins the invaders have kidnapped many people from the local town on Atria; it is our duty to rescue them. We informed the guard but had no luck they didnt seem to care about a couple people getting abducted when there was a whole planet invasion some other place to worry about.
